LOWLAND in  SPAIN is dominated  by two huge river basins or depressions: - Depression of Guadalquivir in the south Guadalquivir   (watch this video!!) - Depression of Ebro in North East Spain                                                                          

The highest mountain on the peninsula is Mulhacen.(3477m) in Sierra Nevada. But the highest in Spain is Teide (3718m),in Tenerife.

Today we´ll start the new unit. "Spain Geography" You already know, a lot about it, but still let´s define our aims: ⇨ Define geographical limits of Spain. ⇨Recognise and locate on a map of Spain: autonomous communities, autonomous cities, provinces and capitals. ⇨ In a Physical map of Spain Identify and locate: principal rivers and mountain ranges. ⇨Identify and locate on a map of Spain: principal rivers, their sources, mouths and most important tributaries. ⇨Distinguish and locate on a map of Spain: principal mountains and mountains ranges ⇨ Interpret a political, physical and climate map. ⇨ Draw a political, physical or climate map. 1st work: WRITE THE TITLE OF THIS UNIT  "Spain Geography" 2nd revision of some vocabulary related to the unit.
